Elderberry-

Elderberries are one of the most commonly used medicinal plants in the world and have been used for many centuries. Elderberries are particularly rich in flavonoids, powerful antioxidants, that work to keep the immune system strong and resilient. These tiny berries are are anti-viral and packed with Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin B6 and Potassium. Elderberries also support heart health, are high in fiber and help reduce inflammation throughout the body. 


Ginger Root-

Ginger has a long history of use in various forms of cooking and medicine. It has been used to help help fight the flu and common cold, help with digestion, and reduce nausea to name a few. Gingerol is the main bioactive compound in ginger. It has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. 

Rosehips-

Rose hips are the fruit of the rose plant. Rosehips are known for being one of natures most concentrated sources of Vitamin C, containing over 60 times the amount of Vitamin C as an orange. Rose hips also contain a good amount of Vitamin A, plus other important nutrients like Vitamin E, Vitamin K, manganese, calcium, potassium, and magnesium. Rosehips are also a rich source of antioxidants.

Echinacea-

Echinacea is flowering plant that grows in the U.S. and Canada, and it's been used as medicine for centuries. Echinacea plants contain an impressive variety of active compounds, such as caffeic acid, alkamides, phenolic acids, rosmarinic acid, polyacetylenes and many more. Studies have linked echinacea and their compounds to many health benefits, such as reduced inflammation, improved immunity and lower blood sugar levels.

Sweet Cinnamon Chips-

NOT SUITABLE for infants under 1 year of age.

Grade A Maple Syrup-

Grade A Maple Syrup is a natural sweetener that is also impressive when it comes to supplying antioxidants. These antioxidants, in the form of phenolic compounds, are beneficial for reducing free radical damage that can cause inflammation and contribute to the formation of various chronic disease. Grade A maple syrup also supplies important minerals like zinc, manganese, potassium and calcium.

 

Dosage

For children ages 2 and up take 1/2 - 1 teaspoon twice a day to boost immunity. At first sign of illness or to treat illness such as cold, flu, bronchitis, fever, coughs etc. take 1 teaspoon every 4-6 hours until symptoms are gone.
